Key Responsibilities and Activities:
- Strategic Planning: Partner with marketing leadership to provide data and insights that inform go-to-market (GTM) strategies, represent marketing in the development and forecasting of pipeline and revenue targets, and work with marketing function leaders to align team goals with pipeline objectives.
- Performance Analytics: Develop an analytics framework and reporting that enables the marketing team to track and manage KPIs for channels, campaigns, and the overall funnel performance. Lead regular performance review meetings, highlighting insights and opportunities for optimization.
- Data Management: Partner with RevOps/SalesOps to develop and execute data SOPs and hygiene processes, create data strategies to support campaign segmentation and personalization, and develop marketing attribution methodologies that support KPI reporting.
- Email Operations: Design and implement compliance and privacy policies, monitor and manage email list health and sender reputation, and provide operational support building lists and emails for campaigns and nurture programs.
- Inbound Processing: Work across teams to craft lead scoring methodologies, partner with the sales organization to set, track and enforce SLAs, and upload lead lists from events, campaigns, etc.
- Project & Process Management: Develop structured campaign and workflow SOPs and systems that ensure cross-functional alignment, accountability, and visibility. Identify and resolve process gaps or blockers.
- Marketing Tech Stack: Evaluate, select, implement, and drive adoption of tech for the marketing team and monitor usage and audit the martech stack, gather feedback from stakeholders, define needed enhancements and translate into business value to inform a MarTech roadmap
Knowledge and Skills
- 5+ years of marketing operations experience in B2B SaaS.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with modern MarTech stack (6Sense, Marketo, SalesLoft, Salesforce).
- Experience in the strategy, design and implementation of the lead-to-revenue process; definitions, stages and statuses, data mapping and syncing, and SLAs.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze campaign performance data to optimize existing campaigns and channels, identify new opportunities and turn data into actionable insights.
- Experience in defining and implementing a marketing attribution model, especially for high-volume, high-velocity SaaS businesses.
- Excellent planning, project management, time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills - ability to think creatively, use sound judgment, and be bold when making business recommendations and decisions.
- Strong communication and data storytelling skills with the leadership team and peers.
