A Little About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Trainer to join our team. The Sales Trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering comprehensive sales training programs that enhance the skills and performance of our sales team. This role requires a deep understanding of SaaS sales processes, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire and motivate sales professionals.

What you’ll do

Training Program Development:

  • Design and develop sales training programs and materials, including onboarding programs, ongoing training, and advanced sales techniques
  • Create engaging and interactive training modules using a variety of formats (e.g., presentations, e-learning, workshops, role-plays)

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct training sessions for new hires and existing sales team members
  • Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to sales representatives

Performance Assessment:

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
  • Assess sales team performance through various metrics and provide actionable feedback
  • Identify areas for improvement and tailor training programs accordingly

Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with sales and cross-functional leadership to identify training needs and priorities
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging
  • Remain up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve training content and methods

Sales Enablement:

  • Develop and maintain a library of sales enablement resources, including scripts, objection handling guides, and product information
  • Ensure the sales team is equipped with the tools and knowledge to effectively sell the company's SaaS solutions

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field
  • 3-5 years' experience in sales training and/or leadership
  • Proven experience as a Sales Trainer, preferably in the SaaS industry
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and/or frameworks
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging training programs
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess training effectiveness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Experience with CRM and sales enablement software (e.g., Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, etc.)
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design

Salary

$110,000-$130,000/year DOE

Location

This position is based in our Denver, CO office. We are currently in a hybrid in-office/remote working model based on business needs.
