The Role

The Sr. Manager, Global DTC Merchandising- UGG, will play a pivotal role in driving the global merchandising strategy for the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business, which includes eCommerce, full-price, and off-price retail channels. This individual will be responsible for developing product assortments, analyzing sales performance, and ensuring alignment with global brand initiatives. The role requires a strategic mindset and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver a compelling product offering that exceeds customer expectations across all DTC touchpoints.

Your Impact
 

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

Directive Assortment Planning and execution:

  • Partner with the Sr. Director of Global Merchandising and the regional Merch teams, in the development and execution of global product assortments for all DTC channels, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, and financial targets.
  • Drive seasonal product strategies, collaborating with regional Merch, Retail brand expression and visual merchandising teams, to tailor assortments to key markets, target consumer segments and retail capabilities.
  • Lead the global DTC exclusive and MFO (Made for Outlet) product efforts together with the global product and regional merch teams.
  • Lead the global/regional alignment of the DA assortments across eComm and full price retail channels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborates cross-functionally with regional DTC merchandising leads, who maintain a dotted line reporting relationship into this role to ensure consistent execution of merchandising strategies across regions.
  • Drive the regional investment review process in collaboration with the regional merch and planning teams.
  • Work closely with global marketing, product management and brand planning to align on primary and secondary marketing stories, and the expected regional investments behind them.
  • Collaborate with and support the retail brand expression team and DTC visual experience team, to optimize and align assortments to enable an exceptional costumer journey within our full price retail channel.
  • Establish and maintain a communication platform to optimize global and regional communication capabilities, and access to key global and regional information.
  • Represent Global/Regional UGG merchandising and actively participate in global S&OP meetings.

Sales & Performance Analysis:

  • Building out impactful global reporting, using data visualization in partnership with analytics teams.
  • Analyze product performance, sell-through rates, and consumer insights to ensure optimal future assortments.
  • Create and monitor KPI’s, provide regular reports and propose potential actions.

Market & Consumer Insights:

  • Stay informed on global retail and eCommerce trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior to inform assortment strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Gather feedback from regional DTC teams to ensure regional differences are considered when building out global assortment directives.

$155,000 - $165,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
