Status:  Full-time/1099 Contract
Expected Start Date: January 2025
Location: Remote - Preference will be given to Central or West Coast-based candidates.
Travel requirements- 20-30%

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a BC&R Contractor specializing in Third-Party Risk, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients' risk management strategies and enhance their resilience against third-party risks. We are currently seeking a Risk Management Consultant with specialized expertise in third-party risk management, coupled with some experience in business continuity, to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the design, development, management, and enhancement of third-party risk management procedures and tools, with a particular focus on third-party resilience. Responsibilities:

• Identifying, assessing, and monitoring existing, new, and emerging third-party risks by leveraging advanced tools and processes developed in collaboration with client stakeholders.

• Developing, maintaining, and improving Key Risk Indicators (KRI) to drive comprehensive tracking of third-party risk, including financial solvency, geographic risk, quality assurance practices, reputation risk, and market differentiation.

• Facilitating third-party risk working sessions with stakeholders across the client organization to drive tangible results, especially in the context of supply chain disruptions.

• Consulting with business continuity and enabling functions to conduct in-depth third-party risk analyses in response to business disruptive events, particularly those affecting the supply chain.

• Analyzing third-party compliance with client policies and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and assisting in standardizing third-party risk contract language across the enterprise, with a focus on supply chain continuity.

• Partnering with Third-Party Vendor Management and regional teams to ensure alignment with the client’s risk management guidelines, with a specific emphasis on supply chain resilience.

• Optimizing third-party risk management tools and systems based on Lessons Learned to continually enhance the program, especially in the context of supply chain disruptions.

• Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration or a related field; higher educational qualifications are preferred.

• Preferred certifications include CTPRP, CERP, CBCP, CBCI, demonstrating a strong commitment to excellence in risk management, with some exposure to business continuity concepts.

• A proven track record of at least 5 years in performing risk management, with a specific focus on third-party risk and a keen understanding of monitoring financial health and/or other third-party Key Risk Indicators (KRI’s)

• Preferred 3+ years of experience in Global Supply Chain management

• Preferred 3+ years of experience in utilizing platforms for managing third-party relationships.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to manage complex relationships with customer leadership, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

• Outstanding writing and presentation skills to effectively convey complex concepts and recommendations.

• Superior analytical skills, enabling you to assess and address intricate risk-related challenges within the supply chain.

• Experience in developing and implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and scorecards for risk management, along with defining robust third-party risk processes, with a focus on supply chain resilience.

• Proficiency in heavy data analytics and the ability to present findings through compelling dashboards to track trends and influence strategic decisions, especially in the context of supply chain disruptions.
