The Vice President of Sales will play a pivotal role in advancing Civitech’s mission by driving revenue, fostering strategic partnerships, and leading the organization’s efforts to expand its reach among high-impact Democratic campaigns, committees, and PACs. By aligning our solutions with the needs of political clients, this role directly supports our vision of increasing civic participation and empowering Democratic candidates and progressive causes to succeed.

About our Team: The Sales Team at Civitech is focused on empowering Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations with cutting-edge technology and data solutions. By building and nurturing strategic partnerships, we drive the adoption of our tools and expand Civitech’s impact nationwide.
This role is part of our Sales Leadership Team and reports to the Chief Operations Officer. The Vice President of Sales directly manages one experienced Tier 1 sales representative and oversees four Tier 2 and Tier 3 sales reps.
Location: Austin, TX preferred, but remote candidates will be considered for exceptional fit.
What You Will Do:Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve an annual revenue target of $2,000,000 with a pipeline of $6,000,000+ in qualified opportunities.Engage with Tier 1 clients, including gubernatorial and Senate campaigns, national party committees, and major PACs, to secure deals ranging from $100,000 to $300,000.Lead outreach and relationship-building efforts with decision-makers in high-profile political campaigns and organizations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and technical support, to deliver customized solutions and impactful presentations.Manage and mentor sales reps responsible for Tier 2 and Tier 3 accounts, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and a high-performing team culture.Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including conversion rates and pipeline progression.About You:7-10 years of relevant experience in sales leadership, business development, or related fields, ideally in political tech, SaaS, or data-driven solutions.Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and managing complex, high-value deals.Strong understanding of Democratic campaign operations, progressive causes, and the political landscape.Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizations and influence key stakeholders.Experience managing a sales team and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results.Passionate about leveraging technology and data to empower Democratic candidates, increase civic participation, and advance progressive values.Additional Qualifications (Desired but Not Required):Familiarity with CRM systems like HubSpot.Experience working with state parties, PACs, or national party committees.Civitech's Values:We act with Integrity – At Civitech, we hold ourselves to the highest standards and value open and transparent communications with all of our stakeholders.
