Job Title: Virtual Safety Associate / Verifications Associate
Location: Remote (Nationwide)
Department: Safety
Reports to: Safety Department Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a combined role for a Virtual Safety Associate and Verifications Associate to join our safety team at 160 Driving Academy. In this remote role, you will play a critical part in maintaining a healthy and productive safety culture within our organization. The ideal candidate will assist the safety department with administrative tasks, police report management, and direct interaction with both employees and students. This position is key in ensuring that safety protocols are followed and that our safety initiatives are consistently communicated and supported across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Department Support:
Assist the safety department in the execution of safety programs, policies, and initiatives. Ensure safety protocols are consistently followed across all locations.
Police Report Management:
Handle and assist with the collection and documentation of police reports related to accidents or incidents involving students or staff. Maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-up.
Employee and Student Interaction:
Serve as a point of contact for safety-related inquiries from employees and students. Provide guidance, support, and ensure all parties are informed about safety procedures and protocols.
Promote Safety Culture:
Assist in creating and maintaining a positive, proactive safety culture at 160 Driving Academy. Encourage safe behaviors, reinforce best practices, and provide recommendations for improving safety standards and practices.
Administrative Support:
Perform administrative tasks related to safety, including tracking safety data, work comp, reporting, and documentation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for safety audits and compliance.
Safety Reporting:
Compile and analyze safety data for reporting purposes. Provide regular updates on safety performance and assist in the creation of safety reports for management.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service to both students and employees regarding safety concerns. Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Data input for Student/Employee Verifications:

Shared role to provide data to employers when requested regarding student/employee verifications.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Excel:
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data management, reporting, and analysis.
Customer Service Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with employees, students, and external stakeholders.
Safety Culture Understanding:
A strong understanding of safety best practices and the ability to promote and support a healthy safety culture within the organization.
No Degree Required:
While a degree is not required, prior experience in safety, customer service, commercial driving regulations and administration is a plus.
Attention to Detail:
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Remote Work Ability:
Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills and self-motivation are essential.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred, but not required):

Previous experience in safety coordination or administrative support within an educational or training environment.
Knowledge of CDL regulations or the trucking industry is a plus.
