The opportunity as Email Marketing Lead

We need someone who will own our email program, completely. Email is our lifeline to every fella going through a major health transformation. When fellas discover us, your emails will help men overcome their hesitation and take that first crucial step toward change. When they wake up doubting themselves, your emails are what reminds them why they started. When they're thinking of giving up, your emails keep them going.

This is a full-time, fully remote role.

You’ll report directly to Jamie, our Lifecycle Marketing Lead to scale our email operations while making each interaction more personal, not less.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer: Email isn't just another channel - it's often our first and most important touchpoint. You'll obsess over understanding our fellas' journey, from their first doubt about clicking "sign up" to their proudest transformation moments. You'll speak their language, understand their fears, and know exactly what message they need, when they need it.

  • Strategy: Your work starts with the customer but extends far beyond. You'll define our entire email strategy - from acquisition to retention. You'll know exactly which metrics move the business and build systems to improve them. When something's not working, you'll already be testing solutions.

  • Systems: You're not just a marketer who can use an ESP. You're comfortable diving deep into Customer.io's technical capabilities, write Liquid templates that make personalization feel magical, and ensure rendering is stunning across every email client. You bridge the gap between marketing and engineering, leading email infrastructure discussions.

  • Art: Every subject line, every word, every image, every button matters. You'll craft sequences that convert because they connect, not because they pressure. You'll build automated flows that feel personally written. When a fella opens your email, it should feel like hearing from someone who genuinely gets their struggle.

  • Scale: We're growing fast and building multiple brands. You'll create systems that scale without losing soul. You'll build modular templates, establish clear processes, and maintain quality across different brand voices. You'll automate everything that should be automated and keep human touch where it matters most.

  • Customer Obsession: You care deeply about every subscriber. Every email you send could be the one that helps someone change their life.

  • Technical Depth: You've mastered the email tech stack. & when something breaks, you don't wait for help - you fix it.

  • Growth Driver: You've owned serious numbers before. You understand email attribution models, know how to set up meaningful tests, and can spot a statistical fluke from a mile away. Most importantly, you know which metrics actually matter.

  • Systems Builder: You've learned (maybe the hard way) that manual processes are the enemy of scale. When you build something that works, you make sure it can be easily templated and replicated across brands.

  • Precision: Details matter to you. A lot. You test every email in every client. You catch issues before anything goes live.

  • Speed: You ship fast but smart. You know when to move quickly and when to slow down to get things right.

  • Compensation: US$24k-US$28k annual salary, including 13th month pay & equity
