Job description

Since 2016, Beemac Logistics has been the most comprehensive, asset-based, industrial focused logistics provider in North America. We are seeking a skilled Flatbed Logistics Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth within the flatbed freight market.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Acquisition and Retention:
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with new and existing customers in the flatbed freight industry.
  • Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Proactively reach out to potential clients to generate leads and close deals.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers through exceptional service and communication.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation:
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts to maximize profitability.
  • Track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Accurately forecast sales and revenue.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of freight shipments.
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Utilize industry-specific software and tools to manage sales pipelines and track performance.
  • Stay up-to-date on transportation regulations and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales within the transportation and logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of flatbed freight operations, including equipment, regulations, and logistics challenges.
  • McLeod TMS experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
