Job description

Revero is a personalized digital clinic for treating chronic health conditions such as autoimmune disease. Revero integrates machine learning, personalized nutrition, and virtual care to address the root causes of disease. We have helped thousands of people restore their health and live disease-free, and raised over $6 million from top-tier investors such as A16Z Scout and Goodwater Capital.

As a Closer (Inbound Sales Rep), you’ll play a key role in helping us reach more patients by turning inbound, scheduled calls into new patient onboarding.

Your main responsibilities will include closing high-intent calls and managing your pipeline of leads. You’ll be great at building trust with potential patients, skilled at guiding them to take the next step, and have the perseverance to keep going.
You’ll also have the chance to improve our team’s sales playbook and share valuable customer insights with the rest of the team. We want you to continuously help us refine our approach so we can grow effectively together.

This is a chance to help build an outstanding sales team for a company experiencing rapid growth. If you’re the best on the team and have strong core skills, you’ll be on a path to lead Revero's entire sales team. You’ll work closely with our Head of Operations and our CEO.

This role is fully remote, and you'll work in the US timezone that suits you.

Responsibilities
  • Close booked calls: You’ll have a calendar filled with scheduled calls from warm leads who have signed up on our waitlist and completed our onboarding form. Your role will be to listen attentively to these potential patients, build trust, and guide them toward becoming new patients during the call.
  • Close conversion calls: You’ll also set up calls with patients who signed up on the waitlist but haven't completed our onboarding form. Your role will be to listen attentively to these potential patients, build trust, and guide them toward becoming new patients.
  • Nurture your pipeline: You’ll manage your own sales pipeline. This involves following up consistently after calls, reaching out via email to potential patients who haven't yet made a decision, and addressing any concerns with understanding and empathy. You'll effectively prioritize your tasks within your pipeline.
  • Handle daily team and administrative tasks: This includes updating your sales projections, keeping your tracking sheets organized, and maintaining our CRM system.
  • Improve the sales playbook: You'll be constantly refining your own sales techniques and continuously helping to improve the team's overall sales approach so we can grow effectively. You'll regularly review call recordings to identify what’s working well and what can be improved. You'll fine-tune your sales scripts and rethink our value propositions.
  • Share your customer insights: Since you'll be spending a lot of time with potential patients, you'll gather valuable insights that you'll share with the entire team. You'll provide thoughtful ideas on how to improve the sales funnel for better conversions, suggest potential changes to customer segments and value propositions, and offer product recommendations to better align with what patients want.

  • Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1 year in sales, with a minimum of 6 months in call-based sales.
  • Language: You speak English fluently.
  • Closing Skills: You know how to convert potential patients into paying ones, moving swiftly but with care. You understand when to prioritize a lead and when it's best to move on.
  • Resilience: Sales can be challenging. You have the determination to close even the toughest patients and the drive to improve the process when needed.
  • Metrics-Driven: You're focused on your numbers (like no-show rates, first-call close rates, overall close rates, conversion call close rates, and upsell rates). You avoid fluff and zero in on what truly works.
  • Empathy: You genuinely care about patients' challenges and want to help them. You're skilled at asking the right questions, listening attentively, and building trust.
  • Sales Theory: You have a solid understanding of sales strategies and are comfortable switching between different techniques depending on the customer and their objections.
  • Pipeline Management: You're organized and can effectively manage a complex pipeline of interested leads.

  • Nice-to-Haves
  • D2C Sales Experience: Ideally, you have experience with D2C phone sales, especially in a health-related field.
  • Direct Response Skills: It would be great if you're a strong copywriter, capable of identifying true value propositions and phrasing them effectively.
  • Marketing Knowledge: Having some knowledge and interest in D2C digital marketing would be a plus, allowing you to contribute to improvements across the entire marketing funnel.
  • The position opens in 18-24 months. We are just gathering interest at this point. If this is a good fit then we will be in touch in 18-24 months.
