GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The SQL Server Data Warehouse Developer supports Web and Mobile Applications writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. This role involves gathering and interpreting data, diagnosing problems, and implementing effective solutions to support business intelligence reporting. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data warehouse solutions using SQL Server. Strong problem-solving skills, a methodical approach to troubleshooting, and the ability to communicate findings clearly are essential for success in this role.
HOURS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support application development and reporting needs.
- Develop ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET MVC framework
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and develop data-driven strategies that enhance decision-making processes.
- Understanding of business objectives and metrics, allowing for the alignment of analytical findings with organizational goals.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Generate reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI to provide insights and analytics.
- Create and maintain documentation for data warehouse processes, data models, and architecture.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.

- Demonstrated expertise in SQL Server database development with strong proficiency in T-SQL, database design, and performance optimization.
- Experience with SQL Server tools such as SSMS, SSIS, and SSRS and a working knowledge of Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with software development using ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework and C# is required.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js is a plus.
- Experience developing mobile applications is a strong plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience as an SQL Server Developer

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Moderate math skills required.
- Ability to work with reports and numbers, identifying patterns, trends, and potential errors
- Ability to calculate moderately complex figures and amounts to accurately report activities and budgets.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Experience and expert proficiency using: MS Office Tools, MS Power BI, MS Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, SQL Server Database tools, MS Teams, Software development tools such as C#, ASP.NET, Xamarin, React, etc.
- Working knowledge of MyAvatar NX EHR, NetSuite, and Workday applications is a plus.
- Ability to utilize the Internet for resources.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Current State of Texas Driver License or if you live in another state, must be currently licensed in that state. If licensed in another state, must obtain a Texas Driver License within three (3) months of employment.
- Liability insurance is required if an employee operates a personal vehicle on Center property or for Center business. Must be insurable by Center’s liability carrier if employee operates a Center vehicle or drives personal car on Center business. Must have an acceptable driving record.
- Any Database, Data Warehousing, Azure Database, Power BI, Software Development Certifications are a plus.
