Job description

Aescape is looking for an L2 support engineer who can design and execute comprehensive test plans and ensure the highest quality software releases. You’ll be driving seamless user experiences as we scale our technology platform to revolutionize the massage therapy industry. You’ll be collaborating cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and designers as we build the future of wellness. This role is a six (6) month contract, based in our office in Taiwan

What You’ll Do 
  • Develop a deep understanding of how our systems and components work to ensure development has all of the information needed to fix any issues.

  • Device detailed test plans based on technical designs and product requirements.

  • Execute test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software releases, including onsite testing of hardware devices, software and custom Android-based devices.

  • Work closely with development to integrate automated tests into our CI pipeline.

  • Execute releases on a consistent release schedule and monitoring changes in our systems through metrics and logs.

  • Continuously learn and develop your skills while contributing to the growth of your colleagues.
     

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance. 

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization.

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Real attention to detail and a genuine passion for quality.

Nice-to-have, but not required
  • Experience with hardware is a plus.

  • Experience with Xray test management tool is a plus.

  • Experience in testing ML/AI applications would be cool too.

  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
