About the Role

We're seeking a visionary Business Development Manager to revolutionize how Alteryx embeds our analytics capabilities into partners' As-a-Service offerings. This role is critical in transforming our partner ecosystem from traditional resale models to deeply integrated, value-driven service solutions that fundamentally reshape how businesses consume data analytics.

Your Mission

Engineer strategic partnerships that seamlessly embed Alteryx's data platform and analytics into our partners' service portfolios, creating turnkey, analytics-powered service solutions that become indispensable to enterprise customers. You'll be the architect of a new breed of data-driven service ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Integration Strategy: Design and implement innovative approaches to embed Alteryx's analytics capabilities into partners' As-a-Service offerings, creating differentiated, high-value solutions.
  • Partnership Ecosystem Optimization: Identify and cultivate partners with the greatest potential for deep, innovative service integrations.
  • Value Proposition Development: Craft compelling narratives and technical frameworks from start to finish that demonstrate the transformative potential of analytics-embedded service offerings.
  • Solution Engineering: Work cross-functionally to develop repeatable, scalable service solutions that integrate Alteryx's capabilities into partners' existing service architectures.
  • Revenue Model Innovation: Design new economic models that incentivize deep technological and service-level partnerships.
  • As-a-Service Enablement: Create comprehensive frameworks that allow partners to seamlessly incorporate Alteryx's analytics as a core component of their service delivery.
  • Governance: Manage the pipeline process collaborating with sales and pre-sales utilizing the Alteryx system of record for sales to track and report results ensuring that objectives are met.
  • Channel Transformation: Develop alternative distribution strategies that move beyond traditional resale, focusing on deep technological and operational integration with partner service models.
  • Communication: Ability to engage and manage executive level issues with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to negotiate and influence others.
  • Leadership: Acts as trusted advisor to Alteryx partners and lines of business on channel and strategic issues.  

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of experience in technology services, partnership development, or cloud service ecosystems
  • Proven track record of designing complex, technology-enabled service solutions
  • Deep understanding of As-a-Service business models and cloud ecosystem dynamics
  • Exceptional ability to translate technical capabilities into business value
  • Strong skills in solution architecture and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience in developing alternative channel strategies
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • Global business perspective with comfort in international business environments, including the ability to travel internationally
  • Multilingual capabilities a significant plus
  • Based in the UK
