Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to join our dynamic People Success team and drive impactful projects that enhance the employee experience. Reporting to the Executive Director, Talent Experience (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development), the People Success Program Manager-Talent Experience will be responsible for managing key People Success initiatives and programs, ensuring successful implementation, and providing strategic support to foster employee engagement and development. This role requires a proactive, organized, and collaborative individual with strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Learning and Development Support

  • Assist in the implementation and coordination of training programs and development initiatives.
  • Manage training logistics, including scheduling, tracking attendance, inbox management, communication, and collecting feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with external vendors and internal subject matter experts to ensure the delivery of high-quality learning experiences.
  • Support the evaluation of training programs to measure effectiveness and impact on employee development.

Talent Experience Project Management

  • Lead and oversee project management of key Talent Experience initiatives and programs, such as performance management cycle, leadership development programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resources to ensure successful and timely execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, deliverables, and success metrics.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to address challenges.

Communications Coordination

  • Develop and manage comprehensive communication plans to effectively disseminate People Success information and updates.
  • On behalf of Talent Experience, craft clear and engaging communications, including emails, presentations, and announcements, tailored to various internal and external audiences.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all PS-related communications.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain transparency and foster a culture of open communication.

Qualifications:

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered.
  • 5-7 years of experience in HR project management, communications, or a related role, preferably in the biotech or life sciences industry.
  • Experience in designing and implementing employee development programs and initiatives.
  • Proficiency in HR software systems (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage change effectively.
  • Well organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage shifting responsibilities in a dynamic, cross-functional teamwork environment.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and manage complexity.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

  • Ability to travel 10% domestic and internationally. 
  • All positions have an essential job function to be able to perform face to face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego. No role is expected to be 100% remote.

Preferred

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or HR-related certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and instructional design principles preferred.

Target Base Pay Range:

$107,000.00 - $145,000.00
