Job description

Our US Partner is a trusted confidant and business consultant for a wide array of businesses including, C-level executives, managing partners and shareholders, founders and directors of high profile companies and group leaders.

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in establishing and enhancing our bookkeeping functions, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of our organization. This role requires a detail- oriented professional and a deep understanding of bookkeeping, particularly in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.

This is a full-time role, on a US shift and a Work from Home set-up.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bookkeeping Functions:

  • Set up and manage bookkeeping functions to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

2. QuickBooks Expertise:

  • Proficient in setting up QuickBooks, including QuickBooks Desktop Version, QuickBooks Enterprise, and QuickBooks Premium Plus
  • Utilize QuickBooks to manage payroll services, ensuring seamless interaction with QuickBooks Payroll
  • Set up item codes, manage shipping and receiving transactions within QuickBooks.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Financial Reporting, including a comprehensive understanding of Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, and Cash Flow Reporting is a must
  • Proven experience in setting up and managing bookkeeping functions in various QuickBooks versions.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop Version, QuickBooks Enterprise, and QuickBooks Premium Plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with the ability to set up item codes and manage shipping/receiving.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial data management
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry best practices and software updates
