Motion Designer
What’s the role?
We are seeking a talented and imaginative Motion Designer with strong communication skills, to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with the team to concept, storyboard, design, and animate a variety of digital assets. As a Motion Designer, you will be responsible for creating a variety of high-quality projects, ranging from movie animations and product visualizations to motion graphics for television, digital interfaces, and advertisements. You will collaborate with Visual Designers, Art Directors, and Copywriters to develop compelling stories.
What will you do?
- Design and create engaging animated graphics and visual effects.
- Develop storyboards for animation or video projects to outline visual narratives.
- Collaborate with other creative team members, including graphic designers, video editors, and directors, to integrate motion design into various media projects.
- Work with brand guides to ensure consistency across animation and design.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and techniques in animation and motion design to ensure cutting-edge output.
- Work closely with clients or internal stakeholders to understand and deliver on project requirements.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to conceptualize innovative design ideas.
What do we expect from you?
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Motion Designer, Animator, or similar role.
- You have experience working collaboratively with video editors, production crews, and visual designer and creative directors.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality animation skills and creative versatility.
- Proficiency of industry-standard animation and design software tools, such as After Effects, Figma Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Excellent understanding and execution of animation fundamentals, design theory, and visual storytelling for original motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for content on all media channels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
What’s a plus?
- You have knowledge in video editing (Premier)
- Experience working with LottieFiles.
- Experience creating motion for digital products, including apps and websites.
- You have knowledge in sound editing software (Pro-Tools, Logic).
- You have knowledge in Cinema 4D.
- You have knowledge in AR/VR modeling, workflows.
- You have a strong appreciation for design and user experience.
