We are a deep-tech R&D team of SoftServe that applies expertise in advanced AI and high-performance computing, hardware acceleration, life science, quantum computing, human-computer interaction, and technology commercialization to cross-disciplinary research. We create deep technologies both in-house and as a service for world-leading R&D customers, run multiple technology and academic partnerships, and expose our research at global events and conferences.

IF YOU ARE

  • Having 2+ years of experience in technical product management or product marketing, including creating strategic product roadmaps from conception to launch and working with cross-functional teams for industries like energy or biotechnology
  • Growing service revenue for well-established R&D expertise in HPC/Physics Simulations (Energy) or Bioinformatics/Drug Discovery
  • Crystallized IP/product within the expertise and delivered a PoC/Trial for the customer
  • Proficient in driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
  • Skilled in translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences
  • Knowledgeable about research and development (R&D) and lean startup principles
  • Versatile in collaborating, building consensus, delivering, and driving technical decisions with various-sized customer stakeholder groups
  • Possessing technical leadership, project management, analytical problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Experienced in generative AI, AI/ML, and high-performance computing (HPC) – would be a plus
  • Qualified with a bachelor’s degree (master’s or Ph.D. preferred) in computer science, electrical engineering, bioinformatics, physics, life science, or a similar domain, with an MBA or innovation management degree (as a bonus)

  • Travel to meet with specific partners and client stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, customers, and leadership to bring deep technologies from early concepts and idea validations to pilots and scaling with customers
  • Spearhead the growth and scaling of R&D products and services, driving innovation from the lab to the market
  • Perform market research and customer discovery to identify market needs and validate product-market fit
  • Design the product roadmap strategically, prioritize features, and coordinate with engineering teams
  • Analyze relevant research publications or documentation and collaborate with senior researchers to understand the scope, expectations, and risks
  • Work with clients, prospects, sales, and marketing teams to commercialize developed technology, products, and service offerings
  • Engage in pre-sales and client interactions to formulate a technology innovation strategy and execution roadmap for deep tech products
