What You’ll Do

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding SimuTech Group’s presence and driving the adoption of Ansys products and services. You’ll oversee a team of Territory Account Managers and Account Representatives, providing the leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance they need to succeed. Your ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and deliver results will ensure the team’s sustained success.

Lead and Inspire Your Team

  • Drive a high-performing sales team within your geographic area to achieve ANSYS annual sales targets for new business.
  • Mentor, coach, and educate sales personnel on advanced sales techniques and tactics, fostering their growth and success.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Evaluate the productivity of all team members and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.

Drive Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute comprehensive territory strategies to ensure revenue growth across all ANSYS products and services.
  • Provide accurate forecasts of annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams to ensure transparent and effective planning.
  • Identify and capitalize on training and consulting sales opportunities that strategically drive ANSYS product adoption and sales.
  • Collaborate with local sales teams and corporate sales management to address strategic issues, including special pricing and business challenges.
  • Anticipate and resolve challenges by crafting innovative, client-aligned solutions.

Build Strong Relationships

  • Collaborate with sales personnel to identify and develop long-term opportunities with major clients, fostering strong partnerships.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key accounts, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the industry.
  • Identify and share sales "best practices" across locations to drive team-wide success and efficiency.
  • Represent SimuTech Group with professionalism, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client expectations.

What You’ll Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, engineering, or sales.
  • At least 5 years of proven success in sales management within the engineering software industry.

Pay range: Base - $100,000 - $120,000 OTE $200,000 - $230,000 (Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location)
