Job Description:
The individual in this role will support the delivery of the HCP marketing strategy and tactical plans for our first genetic therapy for hemoglobinothapies (sickle cell disease and beta thalassemia), Casgevy. The temp contractor will be responsible for overseeing development of branded tactics for HCPs, measuring those tactics for success and ensuring they are delivered to customers effectively. The successful candidate will have an ability to thrive in an environment of rapid change, collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, and have a solution oriented and customer mindset.
This is anticipated to be 6 months - possibly longer covering parental leave.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops/updates branded marketing materials that are aligned with marketing strategy and business objectives (including branded websites, IVAs, non-personal promotion, brochures, etc.).
- Independently partners with Communications Review Committee (CRC) to get marketing pieces approved in a timely manner.
- Coordinates conference activities, including promotional booth and conference materials.
- Analyzes complex digital and print material usage metrics for performance reporting and assessing needs for future updates across the brand.
- Manages agency partners to ensure on budget and timely deliverables are executed.
- Develops strong partnerships with cross-functional team to support business goals
- Participate in the development of the annual brand plan to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborates with brand leaders to ensure metrics are in place to measure the impact of tactics in field.
- Leverages knowledge of best practices to develop key marketing insights.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Extensive HCP marketing experience and demonstrated ability to independently take marketing pieces from ideation to execution
- Extensive experience working with Communication Review Committees (CRCs) in a pharmaceutical company setting
- Extensive experience working with external agencies required
- Broad understanding of regulatory rules and regulations
- Ability to understand all elements of brand strategy and role in executing that strategy
- Exhibits ownership and broad accountability for projects and internal assignments; understand when it is appropriate to flag issues to management
- Ability to understand insights and the implications, and apply those insights to tactics, business problems, and opportunities
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, scientific area, or related field
- 10 or more years’ experience in US HCP marketing
Pay Range:
$90-$100/hr
