About the Role:

The Clinician Support Specialist (Remote in AZ, TX, NC, SC, or FL) plays a vital role in enhancing the effectiveness of clinical and operational teams by providing daily administrative support. This position works closely with the Clinical and Operational Leadership team to track and deliver on key initiatives, manage clinician schedules, organize, and analyze data. 

Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm Pacific Time

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with operational and clinical leadership teams to execute clinician facing programs.
  • Conduct systematic audits to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of clinician’s schedules. Prepare detailed reports on findings, provide actionable recommendations, and align solutions with organizational goals.
  • Asses and continuously improve solutions, practices, and processes to promote positive clinician relations, adherence to analytic best practices and operational excellence.
  • Process reimbursements for clinical staff in compliance with the organization’s reimbursement policy. Support clinician schedule management, including accurately recording and tracking time-off requests, schedule blocks, optimization efforts. Assist in managing and resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Participate in clinician onboarding activities to ensure a seamless and positive experience for new clinicians.
  • Collaborate with other departments to organize clinical coverage for clinician time off. Update and maintain a centralized calendar to ensure proper communication across teams.
  • Review and audit policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy. Draft letters and documents, collect and analyze information, and facilitate relevant communications.
  • Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with clinicians and Operational leaders in their designated region.
  • Provide a high level of administrative support compiling reports, including compiling reports and managing calendars for the clinical leadership team, such as the Medical Director and Regional Medical Directors.
  • Act as liaison for clinicians with all departments with specific focus on supporting and optimizing their use of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Report on clinician satisfaction and retention risk and actively participate in developing and implementing solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of position-related experience or in an similar administrative capacity.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience managing schedules.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
