Job description

We are looking for an IT Internal Systems Administrator is responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of internal IT systems, ensuring the organization's technological infrastructure runs smoothly. This role involves deploying, configuring, and monitoring software and hardware systems while providing technical support to ensure system reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities as follows:

System Administration:
•Manage and maintain internal IT systems, including servers, cloud platforms, and network infrastructure.
•Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and system management tools.
•Ensure system performance, availability, and scalability align with organizational needs.

Technical Support:
•Provide technical assistance to employees for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
•Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Security and Compliance:
•Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard organizational data.
•Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
•Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Automation and Optimization:
•Develop scripts and tools to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
•Identify and implement improvements to existing systems and processes.

Documentation and Reporting:
•Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures.
•Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and improvement initiatives.

Collaboration:
•Work closely with other IT team members and departments to support cross-functional projects.
•Assist in planning and implementing new IT projects and initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:
•Proven experience in system administration, IT support, or a similar role.
•Familiarity with on-premises and cloud-based IT environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Workspace).

Technical Skills:
•Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
•Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
•Experience with Active Directory, virtualization, and backup solutions.
•Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) are a plus.

Soft Skills:
•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
•Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar.
• Experience in IT project management or system migration.
