CAD-PDM Application Engineer

Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, a globally leading supplier of defense and automotive products, and 4iG, Hungary’s leading IT systems integrator. R4 has been founded end of 2022 with its headquarters in Budapest and the initial mission to provide project- and operations-related IT services to Rheinmetall’s local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. Based on business requirements and opportunities, R4 plans to progressively expand the scope of its services for internal and external customers alike.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Development of (partial) concepts for CAD / PDM / IT solutions and integration into the company
• Support in the design, implementation and operation of complex CAD / PDM / IT projects
• Operational optimization and automation of interfaces from and to PDM / CAD systems
• Continuous consulting and support for internal users
• Support for external partners and service providers of Rheinmetall AG
• Support Altium and eplan solutions

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Successfully completed university studies in the field of computer science / mechanical engineering or completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) or technician (m/f/d) or several years of professional experience in the desired field of work
• Very good knowledge of PDM systems (ideally Siemens Teamcenter / Dassault Smarteam)
• Very good knowledge of CAD systems (ideally Siemens NX / Dassault CATIA)
• Structured way of working, conceptual and analytical thinking

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE

• Knowledge of working with ERP systems (preferably SAP) desirable
• Confident manner, strong communication skills and assertiveness in dealing with various contacts
• Good knowledge of German
• Willingness to travel
• Willingness to learn and openness to new technologies
