Come join our team as a Deposit and Treasury Assistant Manager. As the Deposit and Treasury Assistant Manager you will be responsible for managing the wire function, creating reports and processes for monitoring business functions related to Deposit and Treasury Management Operations and assisting with management of daily operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages the Wire System
  • Develop and maintain reports, using excel to v-look-up, sort, create pivot tables
  • and whatever is needed to successfully create month end reporting.
  • Assist with creating and updating business online banking processes, procedures and checklists.
  • Assist with ensuring compliance with department procedures.
  • Assist with case creation and monitoring.
  • Assist with supervising Deposit and Treasury Operations Specialists in Deposit and Treasury Operations Manager’s absence.
  • Assist with Deposit Operations daily tasks as needed.
  • Provide support to the Commercial Support Manager as needed.
  • Assist with creating and updating procedures, TM welcome packets, TM forms to improve efficiencies and reduce risk.
  • Assist with Risk Assessments.
  • Provide back-up support for reviewing and authorizing wires.
  • Assist with reconciling Deposit Operations related GL and internal accounts.
  • Assist with mapping all tasks related to the core conversion.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of and follow established Bank policies, procedures, and regulations, cognizant of transactions, inquiries that appear suspicious, obtaining reasonable and verifiable explanations, notifying the Compliance Officer when necessary; completion of all web-based compliance training; resolution of all issues concerning BSA report reviews of suspicious activity and or cash transactions.


Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills characterized by excellent writing and speaking skills with the ability to compose professional correspondence.
  • Ability and affinity to work with, follow and improve processes and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products to include Word, Excel, Outlook as well as other software used in the department.
  • Must be well organized and articulate with attention to detail.
  • Possess effective listening skills; multi-tasking skills; and able to function well under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Educated in financial products and services, banking regulations and laws.
  • Minimum 5 years Deposit and Treasury Management Operations supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
