Job Overview

TIG Risk Services, a prominent national investigative firm headquartered in Destin, Florida, is actively searching for a skilled Private Investigator to join our team in the Santa Rosa area. With over 23 years of experience serving the insurance, government, and legal sectors, we specialize in conducting surveillance, activity checks, and background investigations related to various claims, including worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and long and short-term disability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform surveillance for worker’s compensation, auto liability, and general liability claims.
  • Conduct activity checks and background investigations as required.
  • Take statements and execute scene inspections to gather vital information.
  • Execute both stationary and mobile surveillance in diverse environments, including areas with higher crime rates.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of two years of experience in surveillance.
  • Familiarity with SIU-related functions, including statement taking and conducting scene inspections.
  • Proficient report writing abilities and strong verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to engage in pretext investigations comfortably.

Qualifications

  • An active Private Investigator License in California is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in surveillance or related investigative roles is essential.
