About the job


Join Midea America in our mission to expand market share in the home appliance industry. As a Senior Account Manager, your focus will be on driving sales and profitability within the Club channel. This individual will be responsible for sales and promotional activity across all brands of Midea appliances, identify new business opportunities, and lead strategic growth initiatives. A successful candidate for this role has sales experience across home appliances categories. Ideally this individual will also have experience selling to national accounts. This individual will foster relationships with key customers, and effectively collaborate across Midea’s cross functional teams. This position will own account management responsibilities with key customers and report to the Director of Sales for this channel.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Business planning and channel expansion
  • Monitor overall account performance, identify opportunities and challenges, and develop appropriate action plans
  • Own account management responsibilities for select customers
  • Proactively lead problem solving efforts via logical and persuasive communications while pursuing “win-win” solutions
  • Collaborate with various Midea cross functional teams, including product management, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, finance, and service, to meet account performance objectives and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Achieve assigned KPI’s for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Closely collaborate with customers and Midea operations/supply management departments to provide accurate sales forecasting
  • Other tasks assigned


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Minimum five years of account management experience within the national accounts channel
  • Major Home and Small Domestic Appliance experience
  • Demonstrated success developing and growing sales with large customers
  • Customer Service, Product Training, Forecasting, Market Analysis, Closing Skills, Negotiation, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships
  • Travel: Regularly Domestic and Occasionally Internationally
