The Role

We are seeking a dynamic, adaptable, and highly motivated Associate Producer to join our innovative event planning team dedicated to advancing the global impact of Bitcoin. You will bring experience in supporting large-scale events and possess a passion for creating human-centric event experiences. You’ll be proactive in problem-solving and assist the production team in creating a dynamic experience for attendees at the Bitcoin Conference. You will be excited about new challenges, have a passion for organization, and will have excellent communication skills to articulate your ideas.

Success in this role will require an individual who is flexible and collaborative. We pride ourselves on our iterative process, which involves all team members being adaptable and willing to adjust as the event plan comes into focus. This role will also require you to be exceptionally organized and capable of overseeing multiple overlapping product timelines to be successful. You will have experience creating systems at other organizations and will be comfortable offering feedback on current processes to help our team improve.

You’ll Be Doing

• Event Production: Actively contribute to the creative process by participating in production brainstorming sessions. Conduct thorough research to identify and secure reliable vendors, ensuring a seamless execution of all aspects of the event. Take ownership of specific projects within the event production, from conception to execution. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will guarantee the successful implementation of key elements.
• Data Management: Maintain meticulous records of project details, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information throughout the project lifecycle. Develop a comprehensive system that organizes and archives data to support the planning of future events.
• Activation Support: Take an active role in ideation sessions to generate creative and engaging activation ideas that align with the conference's theme and objectives. When needed, take the lead on owning activations, ensuring seamless execution, a positive attendee experience, and a successful sponsorship.

• Room and Venue Layout Management: Manage and maintain accurate, up-to-date floorplans and room layouts by collaborating with external clients, venues, and general contractors. Effectively communicate design details and understand functional requirements, ensuring layout decisions align with event needs. While not responsible for physically creating floorplans, possess a strong awareness of how design choices impact space functionality.
  
  

We’re Looking For

• Previous Event Experience: Proven experience in successfully executing large-scale events, managing vendors, and managing a budget, showcasing your ability to navigate the complexities of event production.
• Collaborative Attitude: Ability to collaborate effectively with a team, orally and written, while managing assigned responsibilities.
• Organization skills: A successful track record of developing organization systems for projects that are easily understandable, accessible to new team members, and accurate for tracking real-time data.
• Time Management: Efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced event environment.
• Self-Starter Mentality: Eager attitude around embracing new projects, regardless of scope or experience. Willingness to find answers resourcefully and proactively address challenges.
• Bitcoin Enthusiast: Strong interest and knowledge in the Bitcoin space and a passion for advocating hyperbitcoinization and promoting Bitcoin adoption.
