Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Legence Insurance Program
    • Assist in compiling data and documentation for annual insurance renewal
    • Understanding of BU operations, scope of work, etc.
    • Payroll figures, revenues, autos, property information, etc.
    • Familiarize yourself with Legence policies to answer questions from BUs on coverage, limits, etc.
    • Attend Weekly Meetings with Broker to discuss day-to-day outstanding tasks due.
    • Attend Quarterly Claims meetings
    • Liaison between BU and Carrier Adjuster and/or Counsel on claims.
    • Assist in gathering all documentation that are pertinent to each claim
    • Prepare Premium Summary’s for BU Allocations
    • Work with M&A Team/Broker Team on integrating newly acquired companies
  • Legence Surety Program
    • Prepare Monthly Bonds Report for Finance Team
    • Request Bonds from Broker; Familiarize with contracts to answer any broker questions
    • Review Monthly Backlog Reports to assess future bonding needs
    • Monthly AP Reconciliation on outstanding premium AP
    • Work with M&A Team/Broker Team on integrating newly acquired companies
  • Operations
    • Assist with Contract Review across the BUs
  • Negotiate Vendor/Sub Terms and Conditions
    • Contract Management System
    • Coordinate with BU Contract Administrators on maintaining newly created Contracts Management System
  • Assist BUs with any Pre-Qualification information needed (i.e. Safety, Insurance, Bonding, etc.
  • Assist Corporate Finance Team with questions on annual audit (re: Contractual Questions, Unions, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field; JD or certifications in Risk/Contract Management preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in risk management, insurance, or legal contracts.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with construction or engineering industries is a plus.
