Overview

The Mendix Developer plays a crucial role within our organization and is responsible for leveraging the Mendix platform to design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications. The importance of this role cannot be overstated, as the Mendix Developer is instrumental in enabling our clients to streamline their operations, improve customer engagement, and achieve their business objectives through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain applications on the Mendix platform.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
Implement user interfaces that enhance user experience according to design specifications.
Code applications using Mendix best practices, ensuring quality and maintainability.
Integrate various data sources and databases into Mendix applications.
Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to ensure application reliability.
Provide technical support and advice to team members and clients.
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.
Document application functionality, architecture, and deployment processes.
Stay current with Mendix platform updates and integrate new features as needed.
Collaborate closely with the DevOps team to manage deployments and operations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing applications using the Mendix platform.
Strong programming skills in Java and other relevant technologies.
Experience with database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL.
Familiarity with web services and APIs for application integration.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
