Job Title: Application Specialist - Chromatography

Responsibilities

Provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical/application support, responding to inquiries from internal and external customers.
Develop and optimize methods for all chromatography products, including LCMS/GCMS & HPLC
Deliver customer presentations, technical seminars, and training sessions on various chromatographic products and applications.
Prepare and present technical seminars to both existing and potential customers.
Cultivate and deepen Thermo Fisher Scientific’s relationships with key scientific and educational leaders.
Develop educational content for company-hosted websites, videos, seminars, and application reports.
Handle product-related issues and troubleshooting at both the demo lab and customer sites.

Requirements

Post Graduate / PhD in Chemistry (Analytical / Organic), Biochemistry, or Pharmacy.
Over 7 years of experience in LCMS/GCMS operations.
More than 5 years of experience in Pharma, Biopharma, or Food industries.
Proven ability to generate technically reviewed application notes and generate data/reports to global Tech tools.
Willingness to travel extensively (over 60%) within the United States.
Interest in learning alternative chromatographic techniques for comprehensive customer support.
Stay updated on current technology trends and scientific literature, sharing this knowledge with the sales team.
