Job Title: Application Specialist - Chromatography

Responsibilities

  • Provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical/application support, responding to inquiries from internal and external customers.
  • Develop and optimize methods for all chromatography products, including LCMS/GCMS & HPLC
  • Deliver customer presentations, technical seminars, and training sessions on various chromatographic products and applications.
  • Prepare and present technical seminars to both existing and potential customers.
  • Cultivate and deepen Thermo Fisher Scientific’s relationships with key scientific and educational leaders.
  • Develop educational content for company-hosted websites, videos, seminars, and application reports.
  • Handle product-related issues and troubleshooting at both the demo lab and customer sites.

Requirements

  • Post Graduate / PhD in Chemistry (Analytical / Organic), Biochemistry, or Pharmacy.
  • Over 7 years of experience in LCMS/GCMS operations.
  • More than 5 years of experience in Pharma, Biopharma, or Food industries.
  • Proven ability to generate technically reviewed application notes and generate data/reports to global Tech tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (over 60%) within the United States.
  • Interest in learning alternative chromatographic techniques for comprehensive customer support.
  • Stay updated on current technology trends and scientific literature, sharing this knowledge with the sales team.
