Insurity’s Next Cloud Operations Monitoring Analyst  
The Cloud Operations Monitoring Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and reliability of Insurity's cloud and customer environments. As a first line of support, the analyst actively monitors these systems to identify, manage, and resolve incidents promptly, adhering to strict service-level agreements (SLAs) and incident management protocols. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to address technical issues raised by monitoring platforms, evolving and implementing monitoring solutions, and creating actionable reports and dashboards to track performance metrics. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure, dynamic environment. #Monitoring #ITManagement    
    
What Our Cloud Operations Monitoring Analyst Will Do    
  • Actively monitor Insurity's cloud and customer production environments, in a first line of support basis
  • Transition incidents to Cloud Operations teams per Insurity's incident management practices
  • Apply Insurity's incident management & notification practices on a day-to-day basis
  • Ensure critical incidents are managed promptly and per Insurity's SLAs
  • Create, provide, and evolve our incident management reporting and analytics capabilities
  • Actively participate in Insurity's efforts to provide 24/7 cloud monitoring
  • Ensure Insurity's incident tracking practices are followed
  • Participate in the evolution & implementation of monitoring solutions for Insurity products including:
  • Creating and applying monitoring templates and adjusting as needed
  • Participate in the alert management process' evolution
  • Creating and maintaining dashboards to report on key performance metrics
  • Work with various internal teams to resolve incidents and problems raised by our monitoring platforms
  • Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc.

Who We’re Looking For 
 
  • 1 year of system monitoring experience
  • 1 year in a 24x7 high-availability production environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (equivalent work experience may be considered)

  • Knowledge in 2+ monitoring solutions
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience with BigPanda or other similar products

Along with the benefits listed above, the salary range for this role is $65,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience.
