Job description

Job Advert: Roster Clerk (Temporary)

Location: Anywhere in Kent - Remote Working

Pay Rate: £14.00ph - £15.00ph

We are currently seeking a skilled Roster Clerk to join our client's dynamic team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our client's organisation. As a Roster Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient schedules and rosters are maintained for their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain accurate rosters and schedules for employees within the organisation.
  • Coordinate with managers and supervisors to ensure appropriate coverage and allocation of resources.
  • Monitor and update employee availability and leave requests within the roster system.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure that relevant employee data is accurately recorded in the roster system.
  • Communicate and distribute roster information to employees in a timely manner.
  • Address any roster-related queries or concerns from employees and management.
  • Provide regular reports on rostering activities and performance to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to streamline rostering procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in rostering or scheduling is required.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with rostering software.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Contract Details:

This role is temporary, offering an hourly rate ranging from £14.00 to £15.00, commensurate with experience. The duration of the contract will depend on the needs of our client's organisation.
