Job description

This is a remote position.

.NET CMS Developer
Freelance - 3 month duration 
Fully remote 
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, customize, and maintain CMS-based web applications using .NET frameworks.
  • Implement, integrate, and optimize content management systems (e.g., Umbraco, Sitecore, Kentico, or similar).
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to improve performance and usability.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and practices in CMS and .NET development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficient in C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core.
  • Experience with at least one CMS platform, such as Umbraco or Optimizely 
  • Strong understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, Web Services, and API integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure or AWS.
  • Proficient in database design and management using SQL Server or similar.
  • Experience with source control tools like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with headless CMS implementations.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker).
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and performance optimization.
