Security/Compliance Lead

Jan Start

Freelance - 12 month Duration

Fully remote

This role involves a deep understanding of compliance requirements and administrative tasks, with a strong focus on cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate InfoSec Initiatives: Serve as the primary liaison between the InfoSec department and other business units, ensuring clear and effective communication of security policies, procedures, and initiatives.
Compliance Management: Understand and interpret compliance requirements relevant to our industry and ensure the organization adheres to these standards. This includes conducting regular audits and assessments.
InfoSec Oversight: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of information security measures, including risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.
Administrative Duties: Perform various administrative tasks related to security and compliance, including documentation, reporting, and coordination of security training programs.
Cloud Solutions: Focus on securing cloud-based solutions, ensuring that all cloud services and applications comply with security and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a security/compliance role, preferably within a cloud solutions environment.
Strong understanding of information security principles, compliance standards, and risk management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
