We are recruiting for an Insight Delivery Technician to join our Tactical Operations team on a permanent basis!  

What you’ll be doing:  

Reporting to the Insight Delivery Compliance Manager, the key purpose of this role is to analyse predictive data from several systems to proactively raise jobs which could find an emerging risk, allowing us to respond before any impact occurs. Working an extended 7-day shift will allow an extended window of cover, allowing the investigation and interrogation of different data sources to make informed decisions. 

You’ll be responsible for raising, monitoring and analysing information from multiple separate data sources, making sure that jobs are deployed as and when required in an adequate priority, and you’ll also be a point of contact to offer advice on investigations to be completed and model rebuilds.  

This role will require you to be a self-starter, comfortable with helping to define the role and look for opportunities to expand and enhance its scope in addition to receiving these developments from your line manager. Over time, the role and team will evolve beyond being focussed almost solely on pollution to cover a wider remit determined by operational business needs, so to enjoy encountering new challenges and learning new skills will be essential!

What does it take to be successful?  

You’ll be a self-starter and someone who enjoys encountering new challenges and learning new skills. You’ll also:  
 
- Have a basic understanding of the IRIS telemetry system, SAP & Oracle  
- Be an experienced G-net user, as well as a generally strong IT user who is able to pick up new systems readily  
- Good understanding of the business – particularly Water Recycling & Water operational activity  
- Able to respond positively to fluctuating workload  
- Able to communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels in different specialisms  
- Able to work collaboratively and build strong relationships even while working remotely  
- Able to embrace change and to look for opportunities to optimise your role and the functions of the wider team and accept that the scope of the role will continue to evolve and develop over time
