About the role
This position is with the Global Strategic Communications Council (GSCC), a global network of communications professionals in the field of climate, energy and nature. GSCC is a programme hosted by the Meliore Foundation.
We're looking for an innovative Senior Campaigner with a unique combination of skills who wants to play a major role in tackling climate change.
You’ll be joining our Integrated Campaigns team, part of the wider Europe team. This is a new team established to enable GSCC's Europe team to respond more swiftly and effectively to emerging developments across the continent. It enhances strategic capacity for national campaigns during crucial moments, such as the passage of significant climate-related legislation or other pivotal events.
We are looking for a smart campaigner with extensive experience in strategising, executing and optimising integrated campaigns. Our ideal candidate will have experience in commissioning and using polling and insight to form the basis of their strategies, a keen eye for the most politically relevant moments and audiences, and the ability to craft sharp messaging that resonates with specific target audiences.
We believe that the most successful campaigns are genuinely integrated and channel-agnostic. The successful candidate should excel at planning and executing campaigns across a range of channels, commissioning and briefing agencies and freelancers, setting budgets and optimising paid media throughout the course of the campaign. Previous experience working in/on climate is not a must, but working in a field with transferable skills (e.g. politics, advocacy) would be a benefit.
If this sounds like you, we'd love for you to apply.
