The Role
The business Analyst & future Enterprise Architect (H/F) will play a critical role in enabling business and IT leaders to make informed investment decisions that balance current operational demands, disruptions, and opportunities with the long-term strategic vision of the organization.
The primary responsibility will be to ensure the evolvability of the information system to guarantee alignment with the organization's overall strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions that align with the organization's overall strategy.
Your main accountabilities will be:
Align the IT strategy with the business strategy.
Provides overall direction, guidance, and definition of IT architecture to effectively support the corporate business strategy.
Build and maintain the architecture vision and transformation trajectory.
Make sustainable choices, guaranteeing the evolution of the information system.
Build a more integrated, simplified, and optimized information system.
Develops and communicates architectural policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
Promotes the EA process, outcomes, and results to the organization and senior leadership.
Disseminate good architecture practices and promote cross-functional collaboration.
Works with business leaders to understand business requirements and help them understand how technology tradeoffs influence strategy.
Collaborates with project management and IT leaders to ensure progress towards architectural alignment with project goals and requirements.
Consults with project teams to fit projects to enterprise architecture, as well as to identify when it is necessary to modify the enterprise architecture.
Develops a communication plan for architecture at the enterprise level.
Ensures recommendations are based on business relevance, appropriate timing, and deployment.
What we will love about you:
First of all, you have a strong presentation skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical & critical thinking skills and the Ability to communicate, influence and persuade peers and leadership.
And, you have ability to present ideas in user-friendly language and to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
Additionally, you have knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture, business re-engineering principles and processes, and basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting.
But also :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on enterprise architecture.
Certification in TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture framework is a plus
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Knowledge of EA tools and methodologies.
Familiarity with project management principles and practices.French and English fluent
Experience in reuse and urbanization automation and in integration and/or architecture in heterogeneous environments
Ability to conduct cross-functional analyses in a dynamic environment and work on several topics in parallel with different teams
Data modeling and information classification expertise
