The Role

For one of our Partners, we are seeking experienced Senior Payment Consultants with expertise in acquiring and issuing products to support an international client in the payments sector. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in optimizing acquiring operations and merchant onboarding processes, defining and implementing product strategies for issuing products (debit, credit, prepaid).


Responsibilities

Acquiring Focus:

  • Analyze and optimize acquiring operations to improve efficiency and profitability, including merchant sales operations.
  • Redesign and optimize merchant onboarding processes to enhance user experience and operational efficiency, focusing on POS and e-commerce.
  • Collaborate with international teams to implement innovative payment solutions for acquiring operations.
  • Provide strategic and operational consultancy on acquiring solutions and process improvements.
  • Monitor market trends and regulations to ensure compliance and drive innovation.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and business partners to ensure the smooth delivery of acquiring solutions.


Issuing Focus:

  • Collaborate with clients to define and implement effective product strategies for issuing products (debit, credit, prepaid).
  • Analyze market trends and provide insights into emerging opportunities, technologies, and solutions.
  • Advise clients on optimizing their payment product offerings, ensuring alignment with industry standards and customer needs.
  • Support clients in navigating key banking processes related to product sales and post-sales management.
  • Provide thought leadership on the evolving landscape of payment products and systems.


What We Expect from You:

  • Proven experience in the acquiring sector, including POS and e-commerce, and in issuing products (debit, credit, prepaid).
  • Deep knowledge of acquiring operations, merchant onboarding, and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of payment product strategies, market trends, and banking processes.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in English (both written and verbal) and Italian.
  • Experience in sales operations and customer relations.
  • Degree in Economics, Computer Science, or related fields is desirable.


Location: Remote. For the Senior Payment Consultant - Issuing focus, occasional presence in Rome may be required.
