Responsibilities
This position involves support of the Enterprise Asset Management products. The ideal candidate will work with integrated applications in Customer Support. Tasks will include:
- Providing support to internal and external customers for product related issues
- Interfacing with internal customers, including software development and product planning
- Assisting with workshops and training as needed
- Performing technical tasks in support of installation and maintenance of EAM Products
- Proactively keeps customer informed of how and when problems are resolved with focus on retention and reference ability.
- Involved in any additional follow up, testing and troubleshooting including remote desktop viewing through tools such as WebEx, Microsoft Team, Zoom.
- Responsible for appropriate referral to other support analysts, provides feedback to Development with guidance from mentor (more senior analysts) and liaises with other Departments.
- Focuses on developing knowledge in specific product suite or operating environments.
- Contributes information to the Support knowledge base.
- Manages workload effectively following Support Procedures.
- Troubleshooting technical part of the product (jboss, apache, database, sql code, cognos, webservices, adfs, deployment, log, GIS, Esri, etc)
Essential Duties
- Previous experience working in Support and Troubleshooting
- Good problem solving and analytic skills.
- Team player with the ability to build strong peer and interpersonal relationships.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Able to provide oral and written communication that effectively articulates complex ideas.
- User of Microsoft Office applications
Education / Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science or has equivalent technical training and/or work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Possesses working knowledge of operating environments and basic knowledge of product functionality
- Basic knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases
- Technical background
- Experience with Maintenance Software
