Job Summary
As a UX Designer within our Design Systems Team, you'll contribute to Anomali's evolving digital experience, shaping it for our users and supporting business growth. Our Design System is a multi-platform system used by Anomali product teams to create engaging and consistent user experiences. You will help enhance the Anomali Design System, including multi-platform libraries, design tokens, versioning, governance, and accessibility, ensuring adoption and reusability. You will contribute to creating high-quality, usable design components that drive efficiency and consistency across end-to-end user-facing experiences.
As a part of the Anomali UX team, you will play a key role in supporting the product development process, ensuring that our designs align with user needs, business objectives, and technological feasibility.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to identify, prioritize, and
contribute to the creation of new design components that are reusable, responsive, and
accessible.
- Contribute to the creation of components and patterns in Figma, ensuring alignment
with code, Information Architecture, tokens, variants, auto-layout, plugins, version
control, accessibility, and best practices.
- Ensure design assets meet quality standards and are thoroughly documented with
usage guidelines that are clear and actionable for teams using the design system.
- Work closely with developers to maintain and create coded components that align with
the design system.
- Assist in fostering education, creating training resources, and sharing best practices to
enhance the experience of teams adopting the design system.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest insights, best practices, and design patterns across
industries and platforms.
- Operate effectively in agile environments within the parameters of sprints, helping the
team prioritize work based on needs, resources, and capacity.
- Participate in and contribute to the design process, including accessibility, user
research, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
- Build relationships across teams to support the adoption and evolution of the design
system.
About you:
- Experience contributing to design systems with a strong portfolio showcasing
successful design work involving reusable components.
- Strong understanding of the intersection of design strategy, scalable solutions, and
craft.
- Proficiency in UX and product design in collaborative environments, with experience
structuring and contributing to design workflows.
- Advanced skills in product design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
- Strong problem-solving, systems thinking, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with best practices for responsive design, accessible web, iOS, and Android
interfaces that meet WCAG Accessibility standards.
- Mandatory experience working with the React Framework to ensure seamless
integration between design components and development.
- Previous experience with Grafana is a plus, particularly in designing for dashboards
or complex data visualization interfaces.
- Ability to communicate how design systems serve and support business outcomes.
