Join the opportunity to become a part of fast growing, multinational, forward-looking Technology Consulting & Services firm in the capacity of Marketing Director. 

 

Engineering Industries eXcellence is looking for a Marketing Director to lead our Industries eXcellence division’s strategic marketing and operations initiatives and small team. You will collaborate with the Engineering Group corporate marketing team based in Italy. 

This role is based in the United States. Our HQ is in Chicago, IL so this individual should be in or within reasonable travel distance to Chicago

 

You will be part of leading our divisions international marketing team, based in the US and Europe, delivering marketing initiatives for our global division in North America, EMEA, APAC, and South America. You will support your team in setting up marketing campaigns that make our company and brand top of mind with existing and potential customers. You will also help guide the company through a period of expansion, growth and transition – a critical aspect of the job. You will own our marketing systems and tools and help us integrate and use them more efficiently across the organization. You are a jack of all trades. Where others see problems, you see solutions. You like to roll up your sleeves and – provided there is enough coffee – you are happy to deal with. Ideally, you are a hands-on marketer with strong problem-solving skills and process-driven thinking. You are a team player that loves collaborating with awesome and diverse people, but you take initiative and ownership of your critical marketing domain. 

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Development and delivery of marketing and communications strategies for the division across the globe. 

  • Build a comprehensive Marketing plan that creates awareness in our areas of focus for new and existing services including organization of campaigns, events, webinars, digital marketing, and PR. 

  • Strategic Collaboration with the Corporate Marketing Team in Italy: Foster a strong partnership with the Corporate Marketing team based in Italy to ensure alignment on global and regional marketing strategies. This includes regular communication and coordination to align on campaigns, messaging, and market priorities. 

  • Implementation of Company Brand Initiatives: Lead the execution of the company’s brand initiatives at both regional and global levels, ensuring they are consistent with the corporate vision established in Italy. This includes overseeing the adaptation of global brand guidelines to fit local market needs while maintaining brand integrity and resonance. 

  • Cross-Cultural Synergy and Communication: Act as the primary liaison between regional marketing teams and the Italy-based headquarters, ensuring seamless integration of brand messaging and marketing campaigns across all channels. 

  • Continuous competitive and industry trends analysis. 

  • Leadership, oversight, and guidance of our divisions global marketing team. 

  • Cost benefit evaluation of existing marketing campaigns. 

  • Development of Marketing Annual Budget for the division. 

  • Measure the effectiveness of Marketing spend and to use this data to evolve future initiatives. 

  • Ensure success of all marketing events.  

  • Build marketing material such as case studies and white papers and Power Point presentations in our areas of expertise. 

  • Generate and measure KPI’s such as # leads generated 

  • Lead internal and external communications strategies that continue to create awareness of our capabilities 

  • Collaboration with the company’s sales and business development teams by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations. 

  • Management of social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition. 

  • Content management of the division corporate & social websites. 

 

Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in marketing or related field. 

  • At least 9 years proven experience, including 6 years in a leadership capacity. 

  • Solid experience in integrating marketing and sales, marketing automation, and content management systems. 

  • Proven experience in marketing services and solutions in the manufacturing and supply chain industries 

  • Experience with Industry 4.0 marketing enterprise/cloud technology and services (Siemens, SAP, Dassault, AWS, Google Cloud, Consulting Services Firms, etc.)  

  • Experience working with channel partners to optimize lead generation 

  • Ability to travel to our division HQ in Chicago in a reasonable time.  

  • Ability to travel internationally required 

  • Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices. 

  • Data-driven and performance metric obsessed mentality when measuring and evaluating marketing activities and results.  

  • Creative problem solver. 

  • Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles. 

  • Confident, driven and dynamic leader. 

  • Excellent leadership and organizing skills. 

  • Analytical and creative thinking.
