  • JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
    • Responsible for consistent monitoring and distribution of capacity management and access analytics with the ability to provide summaries for varying audience levels, ranging from executive leadership to clinic staff. Creates ways to more easily track key performance indicators and metrics for capacity management and access-related initiatives and ensures that identification of new opportunities are driven by trends in data. Assists with tracking exceptions and approved solutions for change requests that do not align with enterprise access standards.

    • The Clinic Administration teams at Samaritan Health Services are committed to providing leadership and operational support for our physicians, advanced practice clinicians and all other employees that deliver care in our clinic practices.
  • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a related field) or equivalent experience required.
    • Two (2) years analytics, reporting, Information Systems, and/or Capacity Management experience required.
    • Experience with practice operations and clinician templates/schedules preferred.
    • Epic Cadence certification preferred.
  • KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
    • Service Orientation - Successfully apply knowledge of various resources/models of recovery to assist and care for others. Understands and applies knowledge of medical practice operations, scheduling, and the specifics of Epic and Cadence functionality.
    • Clerical & Computer Literacy - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Ability to use Epic Cadence and Ambulatory applications, Microsoft Office suite, and an IT ticketing system.
    • Confidentiality - Knowledge of State and Federal (HIPAA) laws pertaining to confidentiality of protected health information. Ability to comply with laws and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
    • Time Management - Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to complete within required time frames and to follow-up on pending issues. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize competing priorities, and thrive in dynamic fast-paced environments and under pressure.
    • Team Building - Ability to work, function and communicate on a multi-disciplinary team. Possess the knowledge and skills to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members. Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization, including Capacity Management team members, clinic staff, clinicians, and leadership (both administrative and clinical).
    • Social Perceptiveness - Ability to work with a diverse population from pediatrics to geriatrics. Basic understanding of age-related differences in caring for and/or communicating with patients and caregivers. Possess personal sensitivity to the needs and experiences of others and a non-judgmental attitude towards persons of differing standards, values, lifestyles, and ages.
