What You’ll Do As a Senior Data Engineer

• Develop and implement data engineering strategies to meet organizational needs, and ensure timely delivery of reporting solutions
• Create and optimize reporting solutions such as PowerBI reports and dashboards
• Create complex data models and queries to provide meaningful insights and visualizations
• Collaborate with business leaders, analysts, and other departments to understand their data needs
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions such as PowerBI or Alteryx and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Monitor data systems and reports to ensure they are performing optimally. Implement improvements and address performance issues as they arise
• Identify and resolve data-related issues and provide support for data-related inquiries
  
  

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on PowerBI & proven experience managing complex reporting projects
• Expertise in PowerBI, including report creation, data modeling, semantic model
• Hands on Developer Experience with MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI and DAX
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
