Job description

Description

We are seeking an Administrative Professional in our Pittsburgh office.  As a member of our administrative team, this position plays an important role in ensuring the overall quality of audit deliverables to the firm’s clients. A core focus of this position involves the proofreading and processing of audit reports, as well as related necessary filings. 


Responsibilities:

  • Performs initial and final proofreading of audit reports, ensuring proper formatting, mathematical accuracy, etc. 
  • Report processing duties, including emailing final reports to clients, and producing hard copy reports as requested
  • Updates internal tracking for final reports and filings
  • Assists with footing and proforma of reports
  • Files necessary reports with the Prothonotary’s office
  • Administrative support for partners and audit staff
  • Clerical filing, office mail, and other administrative duties and miscellaneous projects as needed

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

  • Minimum Associates degree in business or related field strongly preferred 
  • Minimum 5+ years of administrative experience
  • Prior proofreading experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience working in professional services/financial services industry is a plus
  • Strong computer and software skills including Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Experience with Microsoft Lists, Microsoft Forms and Caseware is a plus.
  • Knowledge of general office procedures and proficiency in operating office equipment (copier, scanner, fax machine, binding machine, etc.)
  • Excellent punctuation, spelling, and grammar
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and plan work activities; uses time efficiently and ensures deadlines are met
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment; respond positively to new ideas and developmental feedback
  • Understanding of the importance of client privacy and confidentiality 
  • Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly
  • The position can be a hybrid role with partial week work-from-home flexibility
