Job description

Field Service Manager

Employment/FLSA Status: Full-Time

Location: TBD

The job position available is for a Field Service Manager. It is a full-time job and the role involves managing and developing the service staff. This includes coaching and counseling employees, setting work schedules and priorities, and conducting staff meetings and evaluations. The main responsibility of the person in this position will be to resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction. They will also make sure that parts and equipment are ordered and dispensed for scheduled jobs to minimize downtime. Additionally, they will instruct technicians on the proper use of materials, quality workmanship, and diagnostics.

The Service Manager will also handle overflow high-priority service calls when other technicians are unavailable. They will evaluate staff to determine training requirements and provide on-the-job training and support to employees. They will oversee company-owned equipment and maintenance, ensuring that assets are protected and controlled. They will make sure that employees have the proper tools for the job and that they are well-maintained.
