Job description

Location: Columbus, Ohio. This role is remote, but there is 30 to 35% travel for the year.


Compensation: $65,000K base to $73,000K base plus commission. Bonus is offered, full healthcare benefits, 401K, and a healthy PTO plan to name a added incentives.


About the Company:

We are looking for Account Executives to come join a growing PE backed security company. They specialize in Security & Access Management, Managed Services, Integration, and more. As an Account Executive, you will work closely with marketing, product, and engineering to ensure potential clients have everything, including a full understanding of company's entire suite of offerings. This is a hunting role, which means you will be going after net new logos within your territory.


Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside product, engineering, marketing, and operations during the sales cycle to keep updated on any new features, updates, or new information on company offerings
  • Manage the entire sales cycle alongside a Solutions Engineer: qualify prospects, new business development, account penetration, negotiation, and contracts (closing)
  • Serve as the key point of contact with your customers; develop/nurture these key relationships to grow business within the accounts
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of customers and their issues to drive long term results and become their trusted advisor on the company offerings
  • Working with clients from 0 to 1,000 employees
  • Managing your pipeline through multiple CRMs and sales tools
  • Travel to conferences, trade shows, and client sites when needed


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in business, marketing, finance, or similar
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, security background is a plus
  • Proven track record of hunting new business opportunities
  • Ability to travel 30% of the year to trade shows, conferences, and client sites
  • Background knowledge in security, access management, data centers, managed services, IT Consulting, or similar is a plus
