JOB SCOPE:

As the Senior Director, Treasury at TransformCo, you will be a senior leader within our finance team, reporting directly to the Treasurer. Your strategic financial acumen and leadership will be pivotal in developing and executing treasury strategies, managing cash flow, optimizing capital structure, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and implements comprehensive treasury strategies aligned with TransformCo's financial objectives and business goals
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to ensure treasury strategies support growth initiatives and optimize financial resources
  • Oversees cash management activities, including cash forecasting, liquidity management, and working capital optimization
  • Monitors and manages cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic investments
  • Leads efforts to optimize capital structure, balancing debt, equity, and other financial instruments to minimize cost of capital and maximize shareholder value
  • Identifies, assesses, and manages financial risks, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk
  • Implements risk mitigation strategies to safeguard TransformCo's financial stability
  • Develops and executes investment strategies for short-term and long-term investments, ensuring prudent risk management and maximizing returns
  • Oversees debt-related activities, including refinancing, debt issuance, covenant compliance, and reporting to lenders and stakeholders
  • Maintains strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors. Communicate effectively to ensure favorable terms and financing opportunities
  • Evaluates and implements treasury technology solutions to streamline operations, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve efficiency
  • Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Masters Degree
  • Over 10 years of related experience
  • License/certification in relevant field
  • 18 years of age or older

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • MBA or other advanced degree in finance
  • CTP Certification
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, or financial services, with management experience
  • Proven experience in treasury strategy development, cash management, capital structure optimization, and risk management
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and financial instruments
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and collaboration skills
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and reporting requirements
