The Private Equity Sales Director is responsible for driving growth within Numerator’s private equity vertical by building strategic relationships directly with private equity firms. This role involves identifying key decision-makers, understanding their priorities, and developing targeted account strategies to drive results.

As a critical contributor to Numerator’s growth, you will manage the full sales cycle - from prospecting to closing - while meeting or exceeding quotas. Beyond individual contributions, this role offers the opportunity to shape this vertical’s future by potentially building and leading a dedicated team as the business scales.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to closing contracts, exclusively with private equity firms.
  • Build and nurture relationships with senior executives, including Partners, Managing Directors, and Operating Executives.
  • Drive pipeline growth by analyzing market trends and aligning Numerator’s solutions with the strategic priorities of private equity firms.
  • Develop and refine tailored sales strategies, creating tools and resources to support engagement within the private equity vertical.
  • Clearly articulate and demonstrate the quantifiable ROI of Numerator’s solutions for private equity firms.
  • Contribute to the development of the private equity vertical’s strategic direction, with the opportunity to grow into a leadership role by building and managing a dedicated team.

What You'll Bring to Numerator

  • Proven success in software/tech sales, preferably SaaS, with strong knowledge of the private equity landscape.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an individual contributor sales role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of the trading strategies and data fluency of buy-side firms, hedge funds, private equity (PE) firms, money managers, etc.
  • Strong ability to engage senior executives and build high-value client relationships.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, and negotiating complex deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Interest in contributing to team growth and potentially building and leading a team.
