Job Summary

As a Sales Engineer at Heartland/Global Payments, your role is pivotal in bridging technical solutions with customer needs. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you'll leverage your expertise to understand and address client requirements. Through product demonstrations and presentations, you'll guide prospects through the capabilities of our Payroll & HCM offerings. Your role ensures seamless implementation, fostering customer satisfaction and driving successful sales outcomes.

 

Duties

  • Stay up-to-date with Product knowledge to be a Subject Matter Expert on Payroll & HCM solutions.

  • Responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell our  products.

  • Ensure a quick turnaround in accommodating demo requests from our sales & partner organizations.

  • Map customer requirements to our product offerings..

  • Accelerate opportunities through the funnel by providing solutions through the presales process.

  • Help sell our solutions through compelling software demonstrations for partners, prospects, and clients.

  • Deliver custom product demonstrations that focus on the customer's key business drivers.

  • Support the sales effort in answering RFPs, solution demonstration, and delivering POCs.

  • Acquire end-user feedback and product ideas for feedback on product development.

  • Provide consultative support to key internal/external stakeholders in assigned territory.

  • Become a key internal and external evangelist of the product.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally across sales, marketing, implementation, and product development- Share feedback & gather updates on the latest product/feature enhancements & releases.

  • US business hours are required. Candidates will mostly support the Western United States Region and periodically support Central and East Coast business. 

  • This list is not all-inclusive as additional duties may be assigned by the Department Lead.
