Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a skilled VB 6.0 Developer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain VB 6.0 applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in VB 6.0 code and databases.
  • Integrate applications with external systems and databases.
  • Support users and optimize application performance.
  • Collaborate with team members on software updates and enhancements.
Required Skills:
  • Strong experience with VB 6.0 and relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of ActiveX, COM, and OOP in VB 6.0.
  • Solid debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with version control tools (SVN, Git).
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with VB.NET or transitioning from VB 6.0.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript).
