About the Role:
Join our fast-paced, customer-centric Member Team as a Senior Fullstack Engineer with a strong emphasis on frontend development. As we embark on a large-scale re-platforming effort to modernize our systems and transition to composable web platforms like Netlify and Vercel, we’re looking for a candidate who thrives in uncertainty, takes ownership of projects, and can articulate solutions effectively. This role requires you to understand and maintain existing systems while driving innovation for our future state.
 
You’ll work closely with backend engineers and own the end-to-end development of customer-facing features, from design to implementation. A significant part of this role involves migrating our legacy systems to modern platforms while ensuring seamless integration with third-party tools and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain highly scalable, performant, and responsive UI interfaces using ReactJS, Next.js, TypeScript, and other frontend technologies.
• Drive re-platforming efforts by understanding the current codebase in React, Next.js, and Spark, while supporting the migration to modern systems like Netlify and Vercel.
• Collaborate with backend engineers and teams working on GraphQL APIs to deliver end-to-end customer-facing features.
• Own projects with high levels of ambiguity, providing technical direction and articulating solutions to stakeholders, including the VP of Engineering.
• Maintain and optimize legacy systems during the migration process, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption.
• Implement and enforce testing practices, including TDD and BDD, to deliver high-quality software.
• Advocate for best practices in frontend optimization, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.

• 8–10 years of experience in frontend or fullstack development, with a focus on ReactJS, Next.js, and modern SPA frameworks.
• Proven experience with re-platforming projects, particularly transitioning to platforms like Netlify and Vercel.
• Expertise in ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, and GraphQL.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, UX principles, and API-first approaches.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate technical solutions to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of complex projects, and drive solutions amidst ambiguity.
• Familiarity with SEO, SEM, Loyalty programs, and integrating with third-party tools is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and modern testing frameworks like Jest, Selenium, or Webdriver.

• Experience working in subscription and/or E-commerce companies

• Understanding of older systems like Spring for maintaining and migrating legacy code.
• Knowledge of Java or Kotlin for backend collaboration.
• Background in performance tuning and scaling high-traffic, mission-critical digital products.
