Job Description

As a Sr. Analyst at Aspirant, you will be responsible for evaluating business processes, identifying needs, and developing strategies to maximize opportunities. You will also gather insights and identify business trends for strategic initiatives and serve as trusted business advisor to our clients while working on a variety of projects. This role will ensure that our clients are continuously optimizing analytical solutions for operations and engage in data driven decision making. Success in this role requires self-motivation and enthusiasm to help our clients achieve their vision via innovative technologies. 

Responsibilities

  • Using Agile methodology, elicit business requirements from business users via questionnaires, surveys, workflow storyboards, use cases, and other methods.  
  • Participate in workshops, develop materials, and contribute to proposals. 
  • Define and document requirements and work with stakeholders to prioritize collected requirements.  
  • Independently perform highly analytical complex, data-driven analysis vital to the planning, direction and evaluation of the business. 

Qualifications

EDUCATION 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in variety of disciplines to include Business, Marketing, Organizational Effectiveness, Technology, Engineering or commensurate work experience. 

REQUIRED 

Minimum 1 year of experience applying analytical methods to business problems, working toward collaborative decision making and outcomes, and maintaining data integrity. 

  • Understands the basic concepts and vocabulary of both Agile and Waterfall approaches.  
  • Expertise with Excel formulas, functions, tools, dashboards, and reports. 
  • Ability to create simple solutions in complex and unclear situations. 
  • Ability to engage with clients at a senior leadership and line management level. 
  • Show commitment to ongoing personal development, tools, processes, and approaches. 
  • Ability to travel based on client requirements. 

PREFERRED 

  • Flexibility and confidence to contribute to any of Aspirant’s other Aspirant practice areas including Strategy & Transformation, Digital Consulting, Technology Consulting, Marketing & Innovation, Mergers & Acquisitions, Recruitment Process Outsourcing, and Sales. 
  • 1 year or more experience with Agile methodology, facilitating requirements gatherings, writing user stories, and consolidating user stories to get to what is required. 
  • Consulting industry experience.
